I sat down tonight to make some samples with my new Fresh Cut stamp set and the notecards that are this month's Stampin' Up! special. I love, love, love these cute laser-cut notecards and the stamp set is so versatile. This is the first time Stampin' Up! has allowed our customers to pre-order a stamp set in the new upcoming catalog. It's great that our no one has to wait until August to own this great stamp set!
The first card above was made with designer print paper. I also added print paper to the flap of the envelope to 'dress up' the envelope a little.
The second card was made with the image stamped on Mellow Moss cardstock with white craft ink.
The black and white card uses the 'split-negative technique. I stamped the image with Versamark, once on Whisper White cardstock and once on Basic Black cardstock. I then sprinkled white embossing powder on the black cardstock and black embossing powder on the white cardstock. I heat-embossed both pieces then I cut the pieces in half and adhered them to another piece of black cardstock. I then added the black piece onto a 6 x 6 card. This is a very elegant looking card.
