I can't believe that August is almost over! It should have been in the 90's today as it is still summer, but a cold front moved in and it barely made it into the 70's. It did serve as a reminder that the summer days are numbered and that the chilly days of fall are just around the corner.
However, it was a perfect day to stamp so I got out my 'Autumn Harvest' stamp set and decided to make a few autumn cards that I could use either for fall birthdays, Halloween or Thanksgiving. I'd like to thank tlynn of Splitcoast Stampers for her inspiration. While she used markers on her card, I decided to watercolor using my Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wonder crayons. This simple, one-layer card is a great card to teach the 'masking' technique.
The die cut Autumn Harvest set, Item #110372, captures the rustic, homey feel of being outside at harvest time. And with the Two-Step Stampin' design, you can add a little Halloween fun to your harvest pumpkins.
