Coming Soon...A Color Renovation

Yesterday Stampin’ Up! announced that there are some new and exciting color changes coming up.  They have spent the last two years evaluating the current color families and studying what colors were more popular and what colors worked together.  Instead of the ‘color families’ we currently have, Stampin’ Up!  will be offering ‘color collections.’ 

The brand new colors joining the ‘color collections’ are Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler (doesn’t that sound yummy?), and Cajun Craze.  If you’ve noticed Crumb Cake on the list, it’s just a name change from the Kraft that we currently have.

And, along with introducing some new colors in their regular line, they will be bringing some of the In-Colors back to stay.  These colors include:  Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi.  And we’ll be keeping Rich Razzleberry! 

Sadly, with the “renovation” of new and returning colors, it means Stampin’ Up! must retire some of our current colors.  As you look over the list of retiring colors, you might want to go ahead and place an order to stock up on your favorite colors before bidding them a fond farewell.  These colors will be available until June 30 so you have plenty of time to stock up on cardstock, stamp pads, markers, and ink.  Contact me at any time with an order or visit my Online Store to place an order.

I must apologize for not keeping up my blog this past week but I was away on vacation in Las Vegas -- my annual Spring Break trip.  Looking forward to a fun week in Vegas is what always gets me through those long winter days.  My husband and I had a great time--free airfare, free food and free rooms, and a little gambling made for a great vacation!

The Awash with Flowers stamp set is a sneak peek from the 2010-11 Idea Book & Catalog and will not be available again until the release of the new catalog in July.  Here are the guidelines for the Hostess and Customer Promotions:

Hostess Promotion:

• You must place your order on a workshop, customer, or demonstrator order to qualify. Online orders are not eligible for this part of the promotion.
• There is a limit of one free Awash with Flowers stamp set per workshop; the reward is for reaching the $350 workshop level, and is not incremental.
• Qualifying hostesses may choose either the wood-mount or clear-mount set. Please note: Clear-mount blocks are not included with the clear-mount set (blocks C and H are recommended this set).

Customer Promotion:

• You may place your order on any order type (customer, demonstrator, workshop, or online).
• There are no limits, and there is no minimum purchase to qualify for the 20 percent off.
• The 20 percent off discount does not apply to the Awash with Flowers stamp set.
