This is one of the projects we will be making at my Stamp Camp this weekend (along with two 2-page 12x12 scrapbook pages) and I wanted to share with everyone how easy this paper flower is to make. We will be putting the flower on a little box but it also looks so cute on a card.
I used the Fancy Flower Punch and punched out 8 flowers. Because of the thickness of our cardstock, I misted each flower with water. I then wadded up the flowers tightly and then carefully 'unwadded' (is that even a word?) each one and layered them on top of each other. Using the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool, I punched a hole in the middle of the stack, then put a brad carefully through it to keep the flowers together. I then wadded them up again and when they dried, it made for a pretty flower. These are the easiest 3-D flowers you'll ever make!
For the box that we are putting our flowers on, we will be using the Sixxix Box #2 Die and the Island Oasis Designer Paper.
Here is a card I made using the 3-D flower on it. I couldn't remember whether I had posted this card yet but it's so pretty I didn't think you'd mind seeing it again!
