November Stamp Camps

November Stamp Camp Card #3: Elements of Style Ornament Card

 

I fell in love with the Elements of Style stamp set when it came out and was trying to figure a way to use it for a holiday card.  While it's a little out of the ordinary for a Christmas card, I hoped that pairing it up with the Bells & Boughs stamp set and the Ornament Punch, it would make a pretty holiday card.  What do you think?

 

 

The main colors I used was Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White for the card.

November Stamp Camp Card #2: Come to Bethlehem

 

 

 

Here is card #2 that we will be making at my November Stamp Camps on November 20th and 21st.  It is using the stamp set Come To Bethlehem.  It also uses the Real Red Polka Dot ribbon that can be found on the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack.  I added a clear brad to make the star 'shine.'

Tags Til Christmas Cards

I'm a little late posting today as I've been busy getting ready for the weekend.  Fridays are always busy around here but especially today as I'm having my two 5-year old grandsons over for a sleepover and needed to get the house cleaned and ready for our big night.  Tomorrow the boys are going with my husband to our Home Depot for a woodworking class to build a spice rack.  I told the boys the spice rack will make a great gift for their other grandmothers -- shhhh, don't tell.  If we have time tomorrow we'll stamp a gift card to included with their spice rack.

 

 

 

Anyway, I did find some time to whip up a couple of cards using the Tags Til Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini (which is also part of the Tags Til Christmas Bundle).

November Stamp Camp Card #1: Ribbon Border Punch Card

One of the Stampin' Up! punches that is new this year is the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Item #119275, and it really adds a fun decorative touch to any card.  I turned some scraps of cardstock (heaven knows papercrafters have tons of scraps, don't we, lol!) into a 'gift' using this punch and a little Real Red Gingham Ribbon that is on the Stampin' Up! Clearnance Rack.

I also used the Northern Flurry  Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die, Item #120902, for the background on this card.

Tags Til Christmas Gift Set

I've been playing around with my latest purchase -- the Tags Til Christmas Bundle.  I was planning on ordering the Decorative Label Punch ($16.95) anyway, so when Stampin' Up! put it together in a bundle with the Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set ($22.95) and priced both at only $31.92, I just had to have both!

 

After I made all the tags, I made a little gift pouch out of a Stampin' Up! 6 x 6 Clear Page Protector and the Candy Cane Christmas Specialty Paper.  I think these are going to make cute Hostess gifts and door prizes.
