The Hello Doiley is a new samp set in the 2011-12 Idea Book & Catalog and I couldn't wait to use it at my September Stamp Camps. This card was inspired by a card Stampin' Up! sent to all the cruise winners this year. I changed the colors and decided to make it as a wedding card. It would also make a great anniversary card.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fold Regal Rose (105130) card stock in half for the card.
2. Stamp a piece of 5” x 3.5” Regal Rose card stock with the Hello, Doily (122845) stamp in Whisper White (101731) Craft Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder (109132) and heat-emboss it. Cut the embossed piece into 3 sections. I cut both ends at 1.5" leaving the center a little larger.
3. Wrap a piece of 1/2” Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon (124142) around the left and right pieces of the doily. Add a small bow on the middle section of the doily. Adhere all three pieces evenly onto a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Early Espresso (119686) card stock. Adhere finished layers onto the Regal Rose card.
4. Finish card by stamping sentiment on Whisper White (100730) card stock and then punch out using the Modern Label Punch (119849). Punch another piece from Early Espresso card stock, cut in half and layer behind the stamped sentiment.
NOTE: The set I used for the words was my go-to stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370).
