What a fun Stampin' Up! weekend I had at my stamp camps on Saturday and Sunday. Even though it was the last weekend of summer, the cool weather made it feel more like fall.
I really love fall and it's always fun to start making Halloween and Thanksgiving projects, so I think the weather got us all in the mood. Here is one of the projects we made at camp.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Fold Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half for the card.
- Adhere a piece of 5-1/4” x 2” Pool Party (122924) card stock and a piece of 5-1/4” x 1-1/2” Spice Cake (124003) Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini to the front of the card.
- On a piece of Very Vanilla, stamp the maple leaf line image from the Holiday Mini Gently Falling (123802-wood, 123804-clear) stamp set in Basic Black (109120) ink. Stamp the solid maple leaf in Pool Party (122923) and Lucky Limeade (122936) ink. Cut out the leaves. Adhere leaves to a Spice Cake circle which was punched out with the 2-1/2” Circle Punch (120906) to the front of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Faith in Nature (122492) stamp set to the front of the card.
This card can be used for just about any occasion. It would make a great get well card, birthday card, or Thanksgiving card. I like to keep the inside plain and wait until I have the perfect person/occasion to use the card for, then I stamp the appropriate sentiment inside.
