What a fun weekend we all had at both Saturday and Sunday Stampin' Up! stamp camps! I was especially excited on Saturday because one of my grade school & high school friends who lives in California was in town visiting family and was able to come to my class. It was fun sharing my love of stamping with her and then getting to spend time together catching up on everything after my other stampers left.
Here is one of the cards we made that was a big hit. It is a pocket card that holds the cookie recipe I served at stamp camp. However, you could easily stamp a sentiment on the card and attach a gift card to slip inside the pocket.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Score an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2 sheet of Cherry Cobbler card stock (119685) at 2.5" on each side using the Simply Scored Scoring Board (122334) from the Holiday Mini. Apply Sticky Strip (104294) along one of the 3” sides at both the bottom and side. Fold sides in, adhering to form a pocket.
2. Stamp a 3” x 3” piece of Whisper White card stock (100730) with an ornament from the Delightful Decorations (116517) stamp set, using Cherry Cobbler ink (119669). Stamp another piece of Whisper White card stock with an ornament using Marina Mist ink (119668) and punch out with the Ornament Punch (119847). Adhere to the top of the card pocket with a Stampin' Dimensional (104430).
3. Add a 3” x 2-1/2” piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper (122349) to the bottom of the pocket card.
4. Add a 2” piece of Sticky Strip to the middle and add a piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding (120992).
Inside
Cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock (119682) 3” x 5”. Adhere the Whisper White cookie recipe onto it. Stamp an ornament on it using Marina Mist ink. Add a Marina Mist tab punched out with the Round Tab Punch (119864).
