As many of you know, when I'm not stamping, you can find me crocheting shawls for my church's Prayer Shawl Ministry. I just completed this shawl and will turn it in for Father Vince to bless.
This is another way I can be creative and give of my time & talents. I always make a card to go along with each shawl, and the recipient will know that prayers went into the making of the shawl. So in this ministry, I get to use my crocheting and my stamping skills!

I really love the soft colors used on this Christmas card designed by Kathy McDowell from Indianapolis. I met Kathy at the Stampin' Up! Louisville Regional where I received her swap.

I have to admit that this is my favorite card from last weekend's Holiday Stamp-a-Stack. I love the Frostwood Designer Series Paper and the Christmas Lodge stamp set, both from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini that we used. And the little Jingle Bell from the Holiday Mini just adds to the charm of the card!
CHRISTMAS LODGE CARD INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Crumb Cake (120953) card stock in half.
2) Embossed a piece of 5-1/4 x 4” Garden Green (102584) card stock with the Square Lattice Textured Impression Embossing Folder (119976). Adhere to the front of the card.
3) Adhere a 2” x 4” piece of Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper (124002) to the left side of the card.
4) Tear 3 sides of a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Crumb Cake (120953) card stock. Gently swipe a Sahara Sand Classic Stamp Pad (105208) across this piece to give it a weathered look. Add a trip of Real Red 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon (119251) to it. Adhere it to the front of the card. Tie a Mini Jingle Bell (124116) to the ribbon using a piece of Linen Thread (104199).
5) Stamp a 3-1/4” x 2-1/4” piece of Whisper White (100730) card stock with the lodge from the Christmas Lodge stamp set (123767-wood, 123769-clear) in Real Red Classic Stamp Pad (103133). Add Dazzling Diamonds (102023) to the lodge using a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425). Adhere it to a 3-1/2” x 2-1/2” piece of Real Red (102482) card stock. Adhere this piece to the front of the card .
6) Stamp the inside with a sentiment of your choice.

I love this card because of all the textures we used in the design. Honestly, I don't think I can ever create a card without using my Big Shot and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders! This card uses several of them, along with the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini!
PINES & POINSETTIAS CARD INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half.
2) Emboss a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (121809). Adhere it to the front of the card.
3) Stamp a piece of 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” Very Vanilla card stock at the bottom using the Christmas stamp from the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set (123762-wood, 123764-clear) and Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Marker (105113). Emboss the stamped piece using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (121809). Adhere it to the front of the card.
4) Stamp the flower image from the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set using a Cherry Cobbler Classic Stamp Pad (119669) and Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Marker onto a piece of 3” x 3” Very Vanilla card stock. Placing the Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402) in the middle of each end of the card stock, punch out middle. This will leave the 4 corners in-tact. Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
5) Add a piece of Cherry Cobbler 3/8 Quilted Satin Ribbon (124105) to the front of the card.
6) Stamp the inside with the sentiment of your choice.

This card is so simple but it really will dazzle the recipient of it this holiday season. The card uses the Christmas Lodge stamp set and the Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper, both from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini.
DAZZLING CHRISTMAS TREE CARD INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Whisper White (100730) card stock in half.
2) Adhere a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Cherry Cobbler (119685) card stock to the front of the card.
3) Adhere a 1-1/2” x 5-1/4” piece of Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper (124002) to the left side of the card.
4) Stamp tree from the Christmas Lodge stamp set (123767-wood, 123769-clear) in Always Artichoke Classic Stamp Pad (102272). Punch the 4 corners using the Ticket Corner Punch (119867). Add Dazzling Diamonds (102023) to the tree using a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425). Adhere it to a piece of Always Artichoke (105119) card stock which also has the 4 corners punched out. Adhere this piece to the front of the card .
5) Add a Real Red 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon (119251) bow to the front of the card.
6) Stamp the inside with a sentiment of your choice

Here is another card we made at my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack last weekend. This card uses the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini.
ORNAMENT CARD INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half. Carefully emboss the front part of the card using the Petals-a-Plenty Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (116824).
2) Stamp a piece of 2-1/2” x 4” Very Vanilla card stock using the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set (123762-wood, 123764-clear) using the Crumb Cake Classic Stamp Pad (121030), and the Soft Suede (120973) and Always Artichoke (105113) Stampin’ Write Markers. Stamp the Merry Christmas from the Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set (124310-wood, 124312-clear).
3) Adhere the stamped piece to a 4-1/4” x 2-3/4” piece of Crumb Cake card stock (120953). Adhere to the front of the card.
4) Attach an ornament that was punched from the Red Glimmer Paper (121790) using the Ornament Punch (119847) to the front of the card.
5) Stamp the inside with the sentiment of your choice.

This card is a very simple but elegant design using Impressions Embossing folders and the stamp set Christmas Lodge found in the Holiday Mini.
BIRDS ON A BRANCH CARD INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Always Artichoke (105119) card stock in half.
2) Embossed a piece of 5-1/4 x 4” Whisper White card stock (100730) with the Northern Flurry Textured Impression Embossing Folder (120902). Adhere to the front of the card.
3) Cut out a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (123130). Using Stampin’ Write Markers, color the rubber image of the birds on the branch from the Christmas Lodge stamp set (123767-wood, 123769-clear). Add Dazzling Diamonds (102023) to the birds using a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425). Adhere it to the front of the card .
4) Add a piece of 5/8” Whisper White Organza Ribbon (114319) to the front of the card.
5) Stamp the inside with the sentiment of your choice.
