This weekend was my monthly Stampin' Up! stamp camp and we had a great time making some cute holiday projects and Christmas cards. Each day I will be showing you one of the projects, complete with instructions. If you would like to make any of these projects and need supplies, visit my On-line Store where you can shop 24/7, and have it shipped directly to your home!
This pretty Poinsettia Calendar was very easy to make and can be used either as a bookmark or, by adding a magnet on the back, can be hung on your refrigerator or file cabinet at work!
INSTRUCTIONS
* Adhere the 2012 Whisper White (100730) card stock calendar to the 11” x 2-1/4” Real Red (102482) card stock.
* Stamp a piece of Real Red card stock 10 times with the slender leaf from the French Foliage (120845-wood, 121166-clear) stamp set using the Basic Gray (109120) Stampin’ Pad. Carefully cut out each leaf. Adhere them to a circle punched out with the 1-1/4” Circle Punch (119861). This will make it easier to form the flower.
* With the 1/2” Circle Punch (119869), punch out a Real Red circle for the center of the flower.
* Stamp 2 leaves from Garden Green (102584) card stock and add to the back of the poinsettia. Adhere poinsettia to the bottom of the bookmark. Add a few Basic Pearl Jewels (119247) to the center of the flower.
* With the Crop-A-Dile (108362) add an eyelet to the top of the bookmark. Add a piece of 1/8” Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (119960).
