Take It to Heart Valentine Card

Here is another of my January stamp camp projects.  I thought it would be fun to make a Valentine card as it won't be long before we celebrate the sweetheart holiday.  This card uses the Take It to Heart stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Basic Black (121045) card stock in half.  Stamp a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White (100730) card stock with the sentiment of your choice and the heart from Take It to Heart (125520-wood, 125522-clear) stamp set from the Occasions Mini.   For the sentiment I used the Outlined Occasions  from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure(available Jan. 24th thru March 31st free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order).

2. With another piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock, add a scallop border using the new Adorning Accents Edgelit Dies (125595) and the Big Shot (113439). 

3. Add a piece of 1/2” Basic Black Scallop Dots Ribbon (124145) to a piece of designer paper.  Adhere both to the Whisper White card stock with the scallop border.  Adhere to the front of the card.

4. On another piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp the small hearts from the Take It to Heart stamp set in Cherry Cobbler (119669) Classic Ink.  Punchg the hearts out with either the Full Heart Punch (119883) or with the small heart from the new Hearts Collection Framelits Dies (125599).  Adhere to the front of the card.

5. Stamp the heart with the children onto Whisper White card stock using Basic Black  Classic Ink.  Cut out this heart with the Hearts Collection Framelits Dies.    Adhere to the front of the card.

Add a little of the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (125585) on the trees.  Be sure to use it sparingly as it will take awhile to dry.

Fresh Vintage Sale-a-Bration Card

This was one of the projects we made at my stamp camps this past weekend.  It uses the Stampin' Up! Note Cards (107311)which I love, as they come complete with envelopes!  The cards was designed by my upline, Susan S., and al the images she used are from the Fresh Vintage stamp set.  This set will be available during Sale-a-Bration (January 24th through March 31st) absolutely FREE when you order $50 in Stampin' Up! product. 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully stamp the top and bottom of the card with the border stamp using Pumpkin Pie (105216) Classic Ink.  

2. Stamp a  3” x 5-1/2” piece of Pumpkin Pie (105112) card stock with the single flower using the Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink for a tonal effect.  Adhere to center of card.   

3. Stamp the center of a small piece of  Whisper White (100730) card stock with the flowers using the Old Olive and the Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Spots from the Getting Started Collection (119979).  Ink up the stamp first with the Rich Razzleberry, then gently add the Old Olive ink to the vines.  Randomly stamp the single flower around the larger flower image, using Pumpkin Pie ink.  Layer over a piece of Rich Razzleberry (115316) card stock, and adhere to front of card.

4. Ink up the square flower image with Old Olive ink, and a Rich Razzleberry (120970) Stampin’ Write Marker.  Stamp onto Whisper White card stock.  Punch out with the 1” Square Punch (124094) which has been carried over from the Holiday Mini.  Layer stamped image over a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock which is punched out with the Postage Stamp Punch (122344).  Adhere to front of the card.

5.  Stamp sentiment of your choice inside card.

Sale-a-bration Snowman

I have a very good demonstrator friend who lives in Texas and I'm excited because I get to see her soon as we are both attending the Stampin' Up! Twitterpated Night Light

 

 

 

I wanted to show you another project we made at my Stampin' Up! upline's recent business meeting.  It is an altered night light and so easy to make.  We used the Twitterpated fabric from the Occasions Mini -- the hard thing was deciding which fabric and new pleated ribbon to use! 

We started out with an ordinary night light which Susan had purchased from Walmart.   We then peeled off the Tinkerbelle images and used it as our template to cut out the fabric.  We used the Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesiveve to adhere the fabric and the ribbon onto the night light.  I chose the Riding Hood Red 3/8" Pleated Ribbon for the top and bottom of my night light.  Isn't it too cute!

Framed Take It to Heart

One of my favorite events to attend is my upline Susan's BAG meetings.  She holds these meetings for the demonstrators in her downline who are working Stampin' Up! as a business.  It is always such a fun time of sharing and making great projects.  Susan likes to have us make projects that are from the monthly Stampin' Success  magazine, and they are always WOW projects.  I wanted to show everyone what we made at her January meeting.

 

 

 

The first project we made is a framed-art piece using several of the new dies and embossing folders from the Occasions Mini.  We also used the Take It to Heart  stamp set and the new Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz.  Isn't it pretty?
