Each year I receive so many beautiful swaps from the Stampin' Up! events I attend, along with the swap group I belong to. It always seems a shame to me not to turn these into actual cards and let others also enjoy them. So, this weekend I went through some of the swaps and decided to use them for the Prayer Shawl Ministry I belong to through my church. All the cards have a beautiful verse inside that I composed for those receiving the prayer shawls our members have made for them.
I'd like to thank everyone who gave me a swap which is now going to touch someones life. I know it will mean so much to them.

I had so much fun at my daugher's Mom-to-Mom meeting today in Avon. What a great group of young women! I want to thank them for allowing me to tell them about the partnership Stampin' Up! has with the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This is the 3rd card we made for our local Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis. We will be donating all the cards we made at this event to so that familes staying at the Ronald McDonald House can send them to their loved ones back home.
The stamp set we used was Fresh Vintage (125115-wood, 125117-clear) which is one of the sets you can get FREE during Sale-a-bration. Contact me if you would like more information on how to obtain your free set. But you better hurry as Sale-a-Bration will be ending on March 31st!
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Adhere a piece of Basic Black (1271045) card stock onto a Note Card (107311).
2. Stamp the cluster of flowers on Whisper White (100730) card stock using Basic Black (101179) Classic Ink.
3. Tie a piece of 1/8” Real Red Taffeta Ribbon (119251) which has been knotted in the center around the stamped image. Adhere it to the front of the card.
4. Add a few Rhinestone Jewels (119246) to the flowers for a little added ‘bling.’
5. Stamp a flower from the set on the front of the envelope using Real Red (103133) Classic Ink.

Here is another card that we will be making this week at my daughter's Mom-to-Mom group for the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis. The stamp sets used for this are are Mixed Bunch (125535-wood, 125537-clear) from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini, and Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370-wood) from the 2011-12 Idea Book & Catalog.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Adhere a piece of Everyday Enchantment (127154) Designer Series Paper (FREE with qualifying order) onto a Note Card (107311).
2. Tie a piece Pool Party Bakers Twine (125574) around the Tempting Turquoise (102067) tag that was cut using the Big Shot and the Two Tags Bigz Die (115954) and adhere it to the front of the card.
3. Stamp the daisy flower on Whisper White (100730) card stock using Daffodil Delight (119667) Classic Ink. With the Blossom Punch (125603) punch out the daisy and adhere it to the card using a Stampin' Dimensional (104430). You will also want to stamp your envelope at this time.
4. With Real Red (100052) Stampin’ Write Marker, stamp your sentiment on Whisper White card stock. Punch it out using the Modern Label Punch (119849) and adhere it to the front of the card.

In 2003, Stampin' Up! launched its Making a Difference campaign and is partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) to bring both comfort and creativity to the lives of Ronald McDonald House guests. One of ways demonstrators can help is to create and donate cards to the Houses in the cities where we host events. Those who are staying at the Houses then use the cards to keep in touch with their loved ones while they are away from home.
I will be speaking at my daughter's Mom-to-Mom group on Wednesday and the ladies will be making cards for the Ronald McDonald House as their service project for the month. This is one of the cards we will be making at the event.
Instructions:
Stamp Set: Dinoroar (122535-wood, 122537-clear)
1. Adhere a piece of Everyday Enchantment (127154) Designer Series Paper (FREE with qualifying order) onto a Note Card (107311).
2. Stamp the dinosaur on Whisper White (100730) card stock using Lucky Limeade (122935) Classic Ink. With a Blender Pen (102845), quickly but carefully pull color into the dinosaur. You may also use watercolor pencils or markers to color in the image. You will also want to stamp your envelope at this time but it does not need to be colored in. With Early Espresso (119670) Classic Ink, stamp “I Dig Dinosaurs and I dig you” under the dinosaur.
3. Tie a knot in the middle of a piece of Pool Party 3/8” Ruffled Ribbon (122975) and adhere it around the stamped image.
4. Adhere it to a piece of Crumb Cake (120953) card stock.
5. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, (104430), adhere the dinosaur onto the note card.
