We had a great time at my Stampin' Up! stamp camps this weekend and I'm always pleased when my stampers love the projects we make. This month I wanted the girls to learn how to make some cards that didn't open the typical way. This one is more of a pocket-style card.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Stamp a piece of 4-1/2” x 3-1/2” Whisper White (100730) card stock with flower from the Bordering on Romance (125480-wood, 125482-clear mount) stamp set from the Occasions Mini with Basic Black (101179) Classic Ink. Color image with Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Painter (103954).
2. Round the top two corners of the stamped card with the 3-16” Corner Punch (119871). Set aside.
3. Cut out two scallops from Berry Blossoms (122350) Designer Series Paper using the Big Shot (113439) and the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die (113469). Cut scallops off the bottom and 1 side of each circle to make a straight edge.
4. On a 5-1/2” x 4-1/4” piece of Concord Crush (119792) card stock, adhere the side and bottom only of each scallop circle so they meet in the middle. This will make a pocket for your Whisper White stamped image.
5. On a piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp a flower from the Mixed Bunch (125535-wood, 125537-clear mount) stamp set with Wisteria Wonder (122926) Classic Ink. Punch out with the Blossom Punch (126602) and add a brad to the center. Adhere to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
6. Stamp your envelope with the flower image and color.
