During August join my team of Inky Images and become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and receive the FREE Howl-o-ween Printer’s Tray project
Are you always looking for an inexpensive gift for your child's teacher or co-workers at your office? Today's featured project is a note pad or Post It Notes holder. We made it at last weekend's stamp camp along with a cute 3" x 3" gift card.
- Score a 5” x 5” piece of Garden Green (102584) or any other coordinating card stock at 7/8” on all four sides using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334).
- Add small strips of the Snow Festival (126908) Designer Series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini to each side.
- Punch a hole with a 3/4” Circle Punch (119873) in the center on one side. This will create an indent that will make it easier to get the Post-It notes or notepaper out of the box.
-
Pre-fold box along scored lines. Cut into scored lines on 2 of the opposite sides (see photo). Add adhesive to the small flaps. Fold flaps into box.
- Adhere a length of ribbon to the inside center of the box. I used the new Gumball Green (126848) 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon.
- On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp the cup from the Scentsational Season (121026-wood, 121190-clear) stamp set with Cherry Cobbler (126966) Classic Ink. With the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies (127812), cut out the stamped image and adhere it to the ribbon. Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246) to the snowflake on the cup.
- Now you can add a package of 3” x 3” Post-It Notes or you can cut and stamp pieces of 3” x 3” note paper and add to the box for a more personalized gift.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow and I will give you the instructions for the cute little co-ordinating card we made to go with this little box. Happy Stamping!
