Framed Christmas Tree Card

Scentsational Season Stamp Set

It is never too early to start planning your Christmas cards.  In fact, it will be here before you know it. Or at least it usually comes for me when I'm not quite ready!  So, to help everyone get a jump start, we made this cute card at my stamp camp last weekend.  It is very elegant looking but it is a very quick card to make.  The card features the Holiday Frame embossing folder, the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies, and the Scentsational Season stamp set, all from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini for our design.

 

Instructions:

Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Cherry Cobbler (119685) card stock in half for your card.

Emboss a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock with the new Holiday Frame (127820) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Holiday Mini.  Adhere this piece to the front of the card.

On another piece of  5-1/4” x 4” Very Vanilla card stock, stamp the Christmas tree from the Scentsational Season (121026-wood, 121190-clear) stamp set with Gumball Green (126861) Classic Ink.  Stamp your message on the piece and adhere it to the inside of the card.

On a small piece of Very Vanilla card stock stamp the tree again.  With the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies (127812), cut out the tree and adhere it to the front of the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional (104430).  Add bow made with the new Gumball Green (126848) 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon. 

 With a permanent marker (I used a Sharpie), carefully color a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246) and adhere it to the top of the tree on the front of the card.

Be sure to stamp the front of your Very Vanilla (107300) Medium Envelop with the Christmas tree!

Four Seasons Fall Card

 

What a great weekend we had in Indiana.  The weather was beautiful and the temperature was very fall-like.  It was perfect for my August Stamp Camps as we made holiday projects -- yep, we were making fall cards and Christmas projects!  I will be posting one of our projects from camp each day this week so be sure you check back every day for some holiday inspiration!

But before I begin I want to thank my wonderful downline Debbie W. for bringing her delicious peanut butter cookies to Saturday's stamp camp.  They were the hit of the day!  I hope to get the recipe from Debbie -- I hope it's not a family secret!

 

Today’s card was a pretty card perfect for a fall birthday, get well, or even Thanksgiving.  For this card we used the Four Seasons hostess stamp set from the 2012-13 Stampin’ Up! INSTRUCTIONS: 

Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Tangerine Tango (111349) card stock in half for your card.  Card will open from the bottom.

Emboss 2 small pieces of Soft Suede card stock with the new Woodgrain (127821) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Adhere them to two pieces of  2-3/4” x 2” Summer Starfruit (126839) card stock and adhere to front of card in opposite corners.

Layer two small pieces of the Floral District (126919) Designer Series Paper onto Summer Starfruit card stock and adhere to the remaining corners.

With Stampin’ Write Markers, ink up the fall bird from the Four Seasons Hostess stamp set and
stamp onto Whisper White (100730) card stock.  Punch the image out with the 2-3/8 Scallop Circle Punch (118874).

Evergreen Framed Art

On Wednesday morning at my upline's house we made several projects after our Build and Grow (BAG) Meeting.  I absolutely LOVED the framed art we made.  Susan modeled it after the sample in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini (page 18).  I added a little paper bow to mine to customize it a  little!  The artwork uses the Evergreen (127970-wood, 127973-clear) stamp set, the Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885) and the Candelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (126901).  If you would like to make this project, you can order the supplies by visiting my Stampin' Up! Papillon Potpourri Butterfly Card

I just couldn't resist making another butterfly card at my July stamp camp since I love butterflies so much!  And, July seems to be a month when butterflies are all over my flowers.  This card was super easy to make--it is definitely a 1 minute WOW card!

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half. 

With the Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), score the front right side of the several times. 

Add a 3” x 5-1/4” piece of Floral District (126919) Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of the card.

Stamp the butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri (123757-wood, 123759-clear) stamp set 3 times using Cajun Craze (126965), Marina Mist (126962), and Lucky Limeade (126984) Classic Ink.  Adhere to the front of the card.   Wrap a piece of  piece of Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine (125572) several times around the card.

Betsy's Blossoms Bird Card

Another card we made at my July Stamp Camp again used the Betsy's Blossoms (126004-wood, 126006-clear) stamp set.  When coupled with the new Delicate Designs (127023) Textured Embossing Folder, it makes such a dainty card. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Fold a piece of the new In Color 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Midnight Muse (126843) card stock in half.

Emboss the bottom of a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White (100730) card stock with the new Delicate Designs (127023) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Cut out around the scallops with either scissors or try the new Large Scallop Edgelits (127019).

Stamp the bird image from Betsy’s Blossoms (126004-wood, 126006-clear) stamp set on the front right side of the card.  Stamp the leaves with the new Gumball Green (126861) Classic Ink.  

Add a piece of the new 3/8” Stitched Midnight Muse (126846) Satin Ribbon around the  stamped piece.  Adhere to the front of the Midnight Muse card.

Stamp another piece of  5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock with the little flower from Betsy’s Blossoms with the new Primrose Petals (126858) Classic Ink.   Adhere to the inside of the card.

Be sure to stamp the front of a Whisper White (107301) Medium Envelope with your flower image.  Stampin’ Up’s envelopes are the best quality to send that special card!
