What a fun weekend I had teaching a great group of ladies how to make some beautiful projects at my March stamp camps. Today I wanted to show you one of the cards we made and share the instructions with you. It is a fun bookmark card I think you will enjoy making.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half.
2. Emboss the bottom of a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Cajun Craze (119684) card stock first with the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder (129383) from the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog. Adhere to the front of the card.
3. Cut two 1-1/2” x 4” pieces of Comfort Café (126898) Designer Series Paper and punch the bottom of each using the Scallop Edge Border Punch (118402). Adhere to the front of card just above the embossing.
4. Stamp a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the “so glad we’re here for each other” from the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set (free Sale-a-bration set) in Chocolate Chip (126979) ink. Punch it out using the Postage Stamp Punch (122344). Adhere to the front of the card.
5. Fold a piece of 2” x 5-1/2” Soft Suede (115318) card stock in half. This will be the bookmark for the card. Carefully place the fold just below the top edge of the Two Tags Bigz Die (115954). You do not want to cut out the fold.
6. Stamp a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the hummingbird from the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set (free Sale-a-bration set) using Stampin’ Write Markers. Punch it out with the 1-3/8” Circle Punch (119860). Adhere to the front of the bookmark. Add to the top of the card.
7. Be sure to stamp your Medium Very Vanilla Envelope (107300) with the hummingbird!
