Are you looking for a great all occasion note card that can be used for a birthday, get well or thinking of you card? We made this card at my March stamp camps and it will fit so many occasions. TIP: Wait until you know who you need a card for and then stamp the perfect greeting inside!
For this card we used the Patterned Occasions stamp set that was FREE during Sale-a-bration. I've posted the instructions in case you would like to make it. What? INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut a piece of 8-1/2” x 11” Midnight Muse (126843) card stock in 1/2 lengthwise & fold. Card will open from the bottom.
2. Emboss a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock first with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335), leaving the bottom fourth plain.
3. Emboss the bottom of the card stock with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder (127023).
4. Cut off the bottom edge using the Large Scallop Edgelits (127019) or scissors.
5. To the front of the embossed piece, adhere a 1-1/2” strip of designer paper from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (129312) from the Stampin’ Up! 2013 Spring Catalog. Adhere to the front of the card.
6. Cut out a Very Vanilla oval using the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (129381). Stamp the coffee cup image from the free Sale-a-bration stamp set called Patterned Occasions. Adhere the oval to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430). For a little bling, add a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel (129324) to the bottom of the oval.
7. To finish off the card, tie a bow from the Midnight Muse 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847).
