Because I love vintage, I had to have at least one vintage card project for my May stamp camp. This card uses the retiring First Edition Specialty Paper which I am very sad to see retiring! While this paper has already sold out, there are still many beautiful Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers available. If you would like to purchase any retiring items before the end of May, please visit My Online Store and click on the Shop Now button and have the items shipped directly to your home at the preferred price!
INSRUCTIONS:
Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) card stock in half for card. Set aside.
Emboss a piece of 5-1/4 x 4” Very Vanilla card stock using the Stripes Embossing Folder (123128).
Adhere a 4” x 2” piece of First Edition Specialty Paper (121878) to the bottom of the embossed piece. Add a strip of 5/8” Victorian Crochet Trim (118481).
Cut a White Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) in half and add to the left side of the card stock.
Using Soft Suede (126978 ) Classic Ink, lightly sponge around the edge of the card. This will give your card a vintage look. You are now ready to adhere this piece to the front of the card.
Emboss a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper (124005) with the oval Designer Frames Folder (123130) and cut it out. Adhere it to the right side of the card for a “mirror.”
Cut out a dress frame using the Dress Up Framelits Dies (130101). Cut out a designer print dress with the framelits die. Adhere frame and dress to front of card.
To finish the card adhere a flower cut from the Vanilla Flower Trim (126869).
