Gingham Garden Gratitude Card

I love the Stampin' Up! Washi Tape and couldn't wait to use it at our July stamp camp.  This card was so fast and easy to make and everyone loved it!  I've posted the instructions so you can make the card -- I know you will want to play around with different designs using the Gingham Garden Washi Tape (121269).

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Cut two pieces of  Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape (131269)  and adhere to the front of a Note Card (131527). 

2.  Cut a 3-1/2” x 1-1/2 piece of Gingham Garden (129310) Designer Series Paper.  Punch out a So Saffron (105118) scallop with the 1-1/4” Scallop Circle Punch (127811) and Whisper White (100730)  scallop with the 7/8” Scallop Circle Punch (129404).  Cut a slit in the larger scallop and slide it over the Gingham Garden strip of paper.  Now adhere the strip to the front of the card over the Washi Tape. 

3.  Add the smaller scallop circle on top of the larger one and adhere a Bright Candy Dot (130931) to the center.

4.  On a piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp “I’m so grateful There’s You” in the world in Marina Mist (126962) ink and punch it out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch (119859).  Adhere it to the top of the note card.

Technique Class: Watercolor Monet Technique

 

Today's featured card is one of the cards we will be making at today's Tuesday Technique Class.  This card uses the Watercolor Monet Technique and is so much fun to make.  The stampers will make both this card and a small sample with the technique posted on the back.  This will slip into a clear ATC sleeve so they will have it for future referance.

Clockworks Butterfly Note Card

Todays card sample is another note card we made last weekend and this card uses the Clockworks stamp set.  While it is not one of the newest stamp sets, it is fast becoming one of my favorite.  We made a similar card at my New Catalog Open House in June, and since it is so fast and easy, I thought my stamp camp stampers would enjoy making it.   Be sure to visit my Online Store if you would like to order any of the items we used.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Stamp the larger image from the Clockworks (131973-wood,  127292-clear) stamp set in Crumb Cake (126975) ink on a Note Card (131527). 

2.  Cut a piece of  3-1/4” x 1-1/4 piece of  Night of Navy from the Regals Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks (130139) and adhere it to the left side of the card.

3.  Cut out a butterfly on the lower right side of the card using the Elegant Butterfly Punch (127526).  Cut out another butterfly from the Night of Navy Designer Paper.  You will adhere it to the inside of the card, carefully lining it up with the cutout on the note card using a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425).

4.  Cut out a leaf using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves Sizzlits (114511) in Pistachio Pudding (131294) card stock.  Adhere it to the front of the card using the 2-Way Glue Pen.

5.  Adhere a little flower to the front with a  Stampin’ Dimensional (104430).  I used the flower from the Flower Trim that was featured in the retired Spring Catalog, but you could also use a clay flower, coloring it whatever color you wanted for your card.

 

This vintage timepiece complete with inner workings is just the thing for nostalgic cards and scrapbook pages!   This eight-piece stamp set coordinates with the 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4" Circle Punches. Available in both Clear-mount and Wood-mount.

Backyard Basics Tulip Note Card

 

At this month's stamp camp we made several note cards to go inside the little Rosette Tote we made (see yesterday's post).  The first one was a cute flower card using the Backyard Basics stamp set.  Be sure to visit my Online Store if you would like to order any of the items we used.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Cut a piece of 4-3/4” x 3-1/4”  of Wisteria Wonder  (122922) card stock and adhere to the front of a Note Card (131527). 

2.  Cut out a 4-1/2” x 3” piece of  Wisteria Wonder designer paper from the new Designer Series Paper Stacks—Subtles (130135) and adhere it to the front of the card.

3.  On a piece of  Whisper White (100730)  card stock, stamp the tulip from the Backyard Basics (129255-wood, 129258-clear) stamp set three (3) times.  Using re-inkers and an small brush or Aqua Painter (103954) color in the flowers.

4.  Cut out the tulips with the Backyard Basics Framelits Dies (129380).  Adhere the tulips to the front of the card using a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425).  Add a little ribbon to the bottom of the tulips using a Stampin’ Dimensional (104430). 

5.  For a little bling, you can add a little Dazzling Diamonds (124117) to the tulips.

I love making little gift items to give people and that's what this month's Stamp Camp was all about.  We made all occasion note cards and a cute little tote to keep them in. The tote was made using a 6-3/4" x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper.  (Did you know that now through the 31st of July you can get a free package of Designer Series Paper when you purchase 3 packages?  What a great time to stock up!)  For the cute little rosette we used the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die (125594) and two pieces of 2" x 12" coordinating Designer Series Paper.
