I have several aging relatives in nursing homes and I know they love getting cards for just about any occasion. I love sending Thanksgiving cards to them to let them know how special they still are and how thankful I am that they are in my life. Here is one of the cards I will be sending them this year. It is made with the Harvest of Thanks (131736/wood, 131739-clear) stamp set. If you would like to purchase any of the items used to make this card, just visit my Online Store and start shopping!
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 4-1/4” Very Vanilla (101650) cardstock in half. Set aside.
2. Emboss a piece 5-1/4” x 4” Very Vanilla cardstock with the Woodgrain (127821) Textured Embossing Folder. Cut out the center using the long thin framelit from the Apothecary Accents (127003) Framlits Die. Tie a piece of hemp twine around one side of piece. Set aside.
3. On a piece of 4-1/4” x 2-3/4” Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the “Harvest of Blessings” from the Harvest of Thanks (131736-wood, 131739-clear) stamp set in Early Espresso (126974) Classic Ink. For color, sponge Old Olive (126953) and Pumpkin Pie (126945) ink over the stamped image. This is a fun and easy way to add color to any stamped image! Adhere this piece behind the embossed cardstock.
4. Adhere embossed piece to front of card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
Happy Stamping!
