Happy November 1st! I thought I'd start off this month showing you a fall card using the Magnificent Maple (131868-wood) stamp. This card was made using a fun technique called faux leather. A little bit of patience is all you need, along with a roll of masking tape. TIP: Better get your own tape--husbands don't like sharing!
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Cover a piece of card stock with small pieces of masking tape, making sure the entire piece is covered with masking tape and no card stock shows.
Step 2: Use your 1st color of ink & rub all over taped card stock with a sponge. Repeat with 2nd & 3rd inks.
Step 3: (Optional) Cover the entire piece of masking tape cardstock with clear embossing powder & heat it. The powder should adhere to the texture of the tape so no VersaMark is needed.
Step 4: Finish your card.
HAPPY STAMPING,
KAREN

Very cool technique, Karen! Love the way you used the reverse side of the punched out circle to balance the card. TFS - Sandy
