Altered Gift Envelopes

 

I wanted to show you what I have been working on this past week.  My mother likes to give a gift of money to everyone for Christmas -- she gave up shopping long ago because there are so many in the family.  So each year she asks me to help her get the gift envelopes ready for her.  To keep the cost down I use the gift envelopes from our local back and just pretty them up a bit. 

 

This year I used the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies (132193) and the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Pack (132183), both from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  They were fast and easy to do!

Santa Cheer

A Visit With Santa

 

Friday night was a "sleep-over at Grandma's house" with Max and Emma.  We always have so much fun whenever they spend the night.  They watched a fun animated movie with Grandpa and were quiet as little mice.  Of course when they are over there is no such thing as being quiet in the morning and sleeping in!  On Saturday their daddy and Grandpa took them to Home Depot for the monthly build-a-project and they got an added bonus that morning -- Santa was there!  So here is my scapbook page of everyone having a great visit with Santa!

Beautiful Snowlake Ornament

 

 

Well, the Midwest got hammered with a winter storm last night.  It's still snowing out and I have to admit it does look like a winter wonderland and gets one in the holiday spirit.  And this is coming from someone who doesn't like snow!  Of course I didn't have to get out in it today.  My son-in-law worked from home today so he was able to get the kids on the bus this morning and I got to stay home and sleep in!

With all the snow I thought it was fitting to show you a cute project which was made with the Festive Flurry Bundle (133285) from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  This cute snowflake ornament was made by Kathi Rotti who was inspired by Emily Campbell.  This would look lovely on anyone's tree.  Or it would look pretty on a gift package.  Why not try making one of thise ornaments today?

A Little Fudging On The Candy To Bring Christmas Cheer
