Pinwheel Card Tutorial

This was a simple card we made at my February Stamp Camps and everyone loved how easy it was to make the pinwheel.  The stamp is from the See Ya Later Sale-a-bration stamp set and is one of the sets you can receive FREE when you place a $50 order now through March 31st.  To order any of the items used to make this pinwheel card, just visit my Stampin' Up! Instructions:

Step 1:  Cut 8 squares using the 1-1/4” square punch

Step 2:  Cut 2 pieces of 2-5/8” x 2-5/8” either Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock (depending on your Designer Paper background)

Step 3: Line up the two pieces of cardstock in a diamond pattern and adhere together. 

Step 4:  Starting with one of the small squares, put a small amount of adhesive in center and adhere along one of the points of the diamond, leaving a small border.  Repeat along each point with each square, alternating patterns.  When you get to the last point you will need to lift the first square and tuck the last square inside.

Step 5:  Finish your card.

Watercolor Wonder Pansy Card

I think one of my favorite stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog  has to be the Happy Watercolor (133188-wood, 133191-wood) stamp set.  Of course that could be because I love flowers and seem to gravitate towards the flower stamp sets! 

This is really a very easy card to make but it is such a WOW card!  If you would like to order any of the items used to make this card, just visit my Stampin' Up! Online Store today!

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:  On a piece of 5” x 3-3/4” Whisper White (100730) cardstock, stamp the pansy from the Happy Watercolor (133188-wood, 133191-wood) stamp set in Black Stazon (101406) ink.

Step 2:  With the solid image from the stamp set, stamp over the flower image 3 times with Pool Party (126982) ink.  Add a ribbon around the bottom of the card and adhere to a piece of Pool Party (122924) cardstock and then to the front of the card.

Step 3:  Stamp the flower part 2 more times on Pool Party cardstock and cut out.  On one piece cut the bottom petals off.  Curl the petals and adhere over the flower on the front of the card.

Step 4:  Stamp the flower again on Daffodil Delight (119683) cardstock, sprinkle a little Dazzling Diamonds (102023) over the center and cut out just the center.  Adhere to the flower on the card.  

Step 5:  Cut out butterflies using the Elegant Butterfly Punch (127526) and the Bitty Butterfly Punch (129406) from the Watercolor Wonder (132994) Designer Series Paper.  Layer and adhere to the front of the card.

Flower Tag Card Tutorial

This was another card from my February stamp camps and I like it because you could make the tag removable so the receive could use it as a bookmark if they wanted to.  We used the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch (133324), along with the Petite Petals stamp set and Petite Petals Punch for the tag.  I've included the instructions so you can make this card and all the supplies we used can be found by visiting my Stampin' Up! Online Store today. 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:  Fold a 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla (101650) cardstock in half.

Step 2:  Adhere a 2” x 5-1/4” piece of Watercolor Wonder (132994) Designer Series Paper to the left side of the card.

Step 3:  Stamp the “just because” from the A Dozen Thoughts (131056-wood, 131059-clear) stamp set at the bottom of the card.

Step 4:  Cut out a 2” x 4-1/4” piece of  Primrose Petals (126841) cardstock and emboss with the Decorative Dots (133520) Textured Embossing Folder from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.

Step 5:  Adhere a Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399) to the front of the tag.

Step 6:  Cut out a leaf using the Little Leaves Sizzlits (114511) die.  Stamp flowers from the Petite Petals (133152-wood/ 133155-clear) stamp set and punch out with the Petite Petals Punch (133322).  Adhere to the front of the tag.  Add a ribbon to the top and adhere tag to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (1004430).

Peaceful Petals Card
