Sassy Thank You Card

Recently I received the nicest thank you card from one of my dear customers and I loved the layout of it so much I decided to duplicate it for my June Stamp Camp.  If you would like to purchase any of the items used to make this card, visit my Stampin' Up! INSTRUCTIONS

1. Stamp the edges of the 5-1/4” x 4” Pool Party (122924) cardstock with the cluster of dots from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds (Retired) in Brown Baked Sugar  (131174) Classic Ink.  Adhere to the 5-1/2” x 4-1/4” Baked Brown Sugar (131296) cardstock.  Set aside.

2. Cut a piece of 6” x 4-7/8” Very Vanilla  (100730) cardstock and score at 2-1/2”.  Fold

3. Emboss narrow end with the Decorative Dots (133520) Embossing Folder.

4. Stamp “thank you” from the Sassy Salutations (132070-wood, 126707-clear) stamp set in  Baked Brown Sugar Classic Ink to the bottom left side of the Very Vanilla Card.  Adhere to the card base.

5. Stamp a 2” x 2” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the flower from Everything Eleanor (131987-wood, 124164-clear) stamp set in VersaMark (102193) ink.  Heat emboss flower in Pool Party (129398) Embossing Powder.

6. Layer embossed flower image onto a piece of 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” Baked Brown Sugar cardstock and      2-1/2” x 2-1/2” Pool Party cardstock.  Adhere to front of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

Red, White & Blue Octopus Card

 

When I first saw the Sea Street stamp set in the new 2014-15 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog I wasn't sure how I felt about the set.  Sea creatures aren't really my thing (I am more into the flowery images!).  However, once I received my set and started playing around with it I was soon in love with it!  This darling card was one of my June Stamp Camp projects and I hope you enjoy making it, too.  If you would like to purchase any of the items used to make this card, just visit my Stampin' Up! INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Whisper White (100730) cardstock in half for the card.

2. Emboss a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Night of Navy (100867) cardstock with the Arrows (132187) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the front of the card.

3. On a piece of 4” x 2-1/2” Whisper White cardstock, stamp the octopus from the Sea Street      (133985-wood, 133988-clear) stamp set in Night of Navy (126970) Classic Ink.  Stamp the border in Real Red (126949) Classic Ink.  Add ribbon around bottom and layer stamped  image onto a piece   4-1/4” x 2-3/4” Real Red (102482) cardstock.  Adhere to the front of the card.  Add 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) to the top of octopus for “bubbles.” 

4. Cut two small banners from the Maritime Designer Series Paper (133696) using the Banners Framelits (132173) and adhere to the front of the card.

Paper Flowers Class

I am so excited because today I have two classes I will be teaching.  Stampin' Up!  has so many wonderful punches and dies and I thought it would be fun to teach a class showing how to use these tools to make different paper flowers.  The flowers can then be used to embelish cards, gift packages and scrapbook pages.   I am looking forward to today's classes and the fun we will have!

3" x 3" Maritime Note Card

I love making the little 3" x 3" notecards for attachments to gifts bags and packages.  This little card features the new Maritime Designer Series Paper (133696) and the Traveler (134510-wood, 134513-clear) stamp set.  It's fast and easy and all the supplies can be purchased through my Stampin' Up! Online Store.  Just click on the "Shop Now" button!

 

Card Instructions

1. Fold a piece of 3” x 6” Whisper White (100730) cardstock in half for the card.

2. Add a 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” Maritime Designer Series Paper (133696) to the front of the card.

3. Stamp a piece of 2” x 2” Whisper White cardstock  with the ship from the Traveler (134510-wood, 134513-clear) stamp set in Basic Gray (126981) Classic Ink.

4. Sponge Real Red (126949 ) and Night of Navy (126970) Classic inks around the ship.  Adhere to the front of the card with a glue dot.

5. Add a 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon Real Red (119251) bow to the front of the card with a Glue Dot (103683).

 

Envelope Instructions

1. Cut out a piece of Maritime Designer Series Paper with the Big Shot and the smallest Envelope Liners Framelits (132172).    Tip: You only need to cut out the to 2/3 of the Framelits as the bottom will not show.

2. Adhere liner to inside of envelope.
