Technique Tuesday: Kissing Technique

It's time for another technique and today I am showing a darling card using the Kissing Technique.  It is so easy to do -- all you need is a solid image stamp and one that has some design to it, plus two different colors of stamp pads!  For my solid stamp set I used Zoo Babies (130453-wood, 130453-clear).  Vist my Stampin' Up! INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1:  Ink up a background stamp with a dark color and leave it face up on your work table.

Step 2:  Ink up a solid stamp with a lighter color and then press it onto the inked background stamp.  (This is the “kiss.”)

Step 3:  Stamp onto your card stock.

Step 4:  Finish card.

 

 

 

Nothing is more fun than seeing baby animals at the zoo.  They're so tiny and playful!  So it's natural that the Zoo Babies images are just as cuddly and delightful as the real thing.  Set Quantity: 10

Halloween Spooktacular CardS

 

Today's picture doesn't do this adorable card justice.  It is has lots of texture and is dimensional.  My special stamper today is Sandra K. Spears and this was her swap from the recent Stampin' Up! Hello Fall!

 

Well, fall is officially here, complete with crisp nights and turning leaves.  At least, a few of my trees are starting to show a little color!  I love fall because I have always loved the autumn colors.  Today's card showcases some of these colors and is a swap from the Stampin' Up! Unite & Excite Event.  It was designed by Mary Ellen Stites.  Mary Ellen paired the For All Things stamp set with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper.

Holiday 3-D Christmas Tree Tag

 

 

This month Stampin' Up!  is holding several stamping events across the country for demonstrators to learn from other demonstrators.   A Unite & Excite Event was held on Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Stampin' Up!  demonstrators came together from around the area to see lots of samples, get some great tips and share business ideas.  Of course at every Stampin' Up!  event there is always lots of swapping.  

Today's creative swap was designed by Twila Davis  of Lawrenceville, IL.  It is actually a darling 3-D holiday tag using lots of items from the new Stampin' Up!
