One of the most beautiful stories in my humble opinion is the Christmas Story -- the Birth of Christ. I wanted to incorporate it in my Christmas card this year so I found Luke's Gospel and printed it out. Then using the Stars Framelits, I cut out the story.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fold a 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Very Vanilla (101650) cardstock in half. Set aside.
2. Emboss a the bottom of a piece of 5” x 3-3/4” Very Vanilla cardstock with the Lucky Stars (135817) Embossing Folder. Adhere a piece of Crochet Trim (retired) across the center separating the embossed from the stamped portion of the cardstock.
3. Stamp the “Joy expressed, Love shared, a Miracle celebrated” from the Many Merry Messages (retired) in Crumb Cake (126975) ink at the top right corner of the embossed cardstock.. Layer the stamped/embossed piece to onto a piece of 4” x 1-1/2” Crumb Cake (131004) cardstock, then onto front of the card.
4. Cut out the Christmas Story from Luke 2:9-11 with the Stars Framelits (133723) and sponge Crumb Cake ink around the edges. Adhere to the front of the card.
5. Add a Real Red 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon (119251) to the top of the card using a Glue Dot.
6. Stamp the inside with your sentiment.
