Inky Images: Something For Baby Card

At my January stamp camps one of the stamp sets I featured was the Something For Baby from the Stampin' Up! 2014-15 Annual Catalog along with the Baby's First Framelits Dies. You can purcahse them separately or as a bundle and save 15%! I wanted to show my stampers that even though it looked like a baby stamp set, with a little imagination the set can be used for children's cards and manly cards! So this week I will show you three vary different designs using just one stamp set. Today's card is the typical newborn card.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold a piece of 8-1/5” x 5-1/2” Pool Party (122924) cardstock in half. The card will be landscape.

2. Emboss the right side of the front of the card with the Tiny Triangles (133740) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Adhere a 3” x 4” piece of the FREE Best Year Ever (138633) Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure to the left side of card.

3. Adhere the Hello Honey (133678) starburst which has been cut out with the Starburst Framelits (132967) to the front of the card.

4. Stamp a piece of Whisper White (100730) cardstock with the “Booties, Bibs and Blankies, It’s just so hard to choose, but thought this was a sure thing that your little one could use!” from the B.Y.O.B. (Photopolymer 137159) stamp set in Smokey Slate (131179) Classic Ink. At the top stamp the booties from the Something For Baby (134027-wood, 134030-clear) stamp set at the top in Pool Party (126982) Classic Ink. Cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits(130911). Adhere to the Hello Honey starburst.

5. Stamp the onsie from the Something For Baby stamp set in Pool Party ink and cut out with the Baby’s First Framelits (133735). Adhere to the front of the card.

6. Embellish the booties with the tiny Pearl Basic Jewels (119247) and add a bow with the 1/8” Soft Sky Taffeta Ribbon (134580).

7. Add a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White cardstock to the inside and stamp “for Baby” from the B.Y.O.B. Potopolymer stamp set in Smokey Slate and stamp the booties in Pool Party.

8. Stamp a Whisper White Medium Envelope (107301) with the booties in Pool Party.
