Inky Images: Hot Diggity Dog

We often get so excited about all the new things in the Occasions Catalog, we forget there are some darling stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. Today I thought I would show you a cute card we made at my February stamp camps using Hot Diggity Dog (134021-wood, 134024-clear) stamp set from the 2014-15 Annual Catalog. This stamp set has three cute bodies, four canine heads, and lots of furry puns. This 14-piece set is definitely perfect for the dog lover in your life. Without it, life is just ruff.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2 ” Basic Black (121045) card stock in half. Tie a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine (124262) around the card.

2. Add a piece of 2” x 6-1/2” Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack (137779) to front of card.

3. Using the Circles Collection Framelits (130911) cut out a Blushing Bride (131198), Basic Black and Smokey Slate (131202) circles in various sizes. Cut each circle in half. These will be the ‘bodies’ of the dogs.

4. Stamp a piece of Whisper White (100730) card stock with the dog heads from the Hot Diggity Dog (134021-wood, 134024) stamp set in Blushing Bride (131172), Basic Gray (126981) and Smokey Slate (131179) ink. Cut out each head and adhere to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

5. Stamp a piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White card stock with the “never underestimate the warmth of a cold nose.”
