Now that the Butterflies Thinlits are back in stock at the Stampin' Up! warehouse, I wanted to show you this pretty card we made at my last stamping class. With the soft colors we used, it would make a beautiful shower, wedding, or birthday card.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fold a piece of 8-1/5” x 5-1/2” Blushing Bride (131198) cardstock in half. Set aside.
2. On a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White (100730) cardstock, stamp the strip, verse and the honeycomb images from the Butterfly Basics (138813-wood, 1387816-clear, 137154-photopolymer) stamp set in Crumb Cake (126975) Classic Ink.
3. Stamp the fern leaves in Pear Pizzazz (131180) Classic Ink, inking up only once. The second leaf will be lighter.
4. Cut out a medium size Blushing Bride butterfly with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies (137360). NOTE: Since this is an intricate design, be sure to use wax paper as a layer for cutting the butterfly. With a 2-Way Glue Pen (100425) adhere BOTH the wax paper and the Blushing Bride butterflies to the front of the card.
5. One a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the butterfly from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe (131176) Classic Ink. Cut the butterfly out with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and adhere to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
