Today's Technique Tuesday highlights the second way to use bleach as to a special effect on your cards or scrapbook pages. One very important tip is to make sure you thoroughly clean your rubber stamp and condition it to make sure there is no bleach left on the rubber as this could ruin your stamp. Whenever I do this technique, I usually use a retired stamp. For this card I used the bird from the retired Nature Walk stamp set.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Fold a small piece of paper towel into a small pad.
Step 2: Pour household bleach onto paper towel — make sure to not get it too saturated.
Step 3: Press stamp onto bleached paper towel.
Step 4: Stamp onto a dark color of cardstock. Be patient — after a few minutes you will see your stamped image appear.
Step 5: Finish card.
NOTE: Clean rubber stamp with Stampin’ Mist immediately after using bleach.
Happy Stamping,
Karen
