Sleigh Ride Window Luminary

 One of my favorite things in the Stampin' Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog  is the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies.  You can make some very pretty cards with it when paired with the Happy Scenes photopolymer stamp set.  However, even without the stamp set, you can create some great things. 

Today's featured item is a darling luminary I first saw on Pinterest.   I put my own spin on it by adding the cardinal to the front.  Besides the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies, it uses the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies.  Both are a must have, in my opinion!  

The luminary is made by cutting out 4 windows from Basic Black card stock.  Then a thin strip of the same card stock is folded in half and used for adhering the windows together to form the box.  Inside is a battery-operated tealight.
