This was Spirit Week at my grand-daughter's school and each day had a special theme. One of the days was Favorite Character Day and they were to dress up as their favorite movie character. Little Miss Emma is in the 2nd grade and I thought for sure she would dress up as her favorite princess, especially as she has several princess costumes. Boy was I ever wrong. When I asked her who she was going to be she thought for a moment, then smiled her little toothless smile and said, "I'm going to be a Minion!"
It was really an easy outfit to come up with. She just needed a yellow shirt and a pair of blue jeans. The goggles were a little more of a challenge. Her mommy found the goggles she wore when she had eye surgery and her daddy spent some time trying to get the lenses of them. Pretty clever, huh?
I really shouldn't have been too surprised at her idea as I guess Minions are all the rage. So pictured above is Emma dressed as her version of a Minion!
If you search Pinterest, you will find lots of cute Minions. Recently Emma and I tried our hand at making a Minion using the Fry Box Bigz Die. And the darling candy bar wrapper below was posted recently on Pinterest.
Happy Stamping,
Karen
