Inky Images: Valentine's Card

Valentine's Day is Sunday so I wanted to post a pretty Valentine's card my group of stampers made at my last Stamp Camp. It is simple but pretty and I know my special Valentine will love it! I think it would also make a beautiful wedding or anniversary card by changing the colors and sentiment inside.

INSTRUCTIONS

Fold a 8-1/2” 5-1/2” piece of Crumb Cake card stock in half for your card. Set aside.

With the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies, cut out a heart in Blushing Bride card stock. Cut out the little flowers in Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and adhere to the Valentine.

Stamp a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Whisper White card stock with the Watercolor Wash background stamp in Pink Pirouette ink.

Rough up the edges of the stamped piece using a distressing tool and tie a piece of Baked Brown Sugar Baker’s Twine. Adhere to the front of the card.

Adhere the Blushing Bride lacy heart onto the front of the card.

Cut a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp “My Valentine” from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set in Smoky Slate ink. Adhere to the inside of card.
