Thanks to everyone who attended this weekend's April stamp camps at my house. We had a great time stamping, along with lots of laughs. I wanted to share with you one of the cards we made. The theme for this month's classes was April Flowers so all the projects featured flowers in some way. This particular card uses the You've Got This stamp set and the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Fold an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of Whisper White card stock in half. Stamp the background from the You’ve Got This stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink.
- Cut out a honeycomb from a piece of 5-1/2” x 4-1/4” Whisper White card stock, using the Honeycomb Thinlits Die. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Using a Sponge Dauber and Hello Honey ink, gently sponge a few of the honeycombs to give it a little color.
- Stamp the flower from the You’ve Got This stamp set onto Lost Lagoon card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut out. Adhere to the honeycomb using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the stem from the flower in Black Memento Ink on Mossy Meadow card stock and cut out. Adhere to the flower.
- Stamp the “I’m here for you” in Black Memento Ink on Whisper White card stock and cut out. Adhere to front of card.
- With the Elegant Butterfly Punch, punch out a piece of embossed Tangelo Twist card stock and adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Pearl Basic Jewels for a little bling.
