Watercolor Rose Sympathy Card

I love the Rose Wonder stamp set.  When you pair it with watercolor paper and a little ink, the result is stunning!

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of Mossy Meadow card stock in half.  Set aside.

2. On a piece of 5-1/4”  x 4” Watercolor paper, mark lightly with a pencil where the rose stamp from the Rose Wonder stamp set would go.   Using Mossy Meadow and Real Red Re-inkers and Aqua  Painters, lightly brush color onto the Watercolor paper.  Let dry.

5. Stamp the rose image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

6. Add a 1/4” Old Olive ribbon around the top of the stamped card stock. Adhere to front of card.

7. Stamp the “You’re in my thoughts and prayers” and punch out. Adhere to the front of the card  using Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

8. Stamp a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock with the “Fear not, for I am with you…..” and adhere to the inside of the card.

Mark Your Calendars!

Today was an exciting day for Stampin' Up!  demonstrators all over the world.  It was the day we could pre-order a selection of items from the new 2016-17 Annual Catalog!   The catalog is one of the best ever and my own wish list is sooooo long!

A demonstrator recently shared a funny little story with us and I want to share it with you:

My husband was looking fine in his "Dapper Denim" jacket.  I wouldn't say I was green with envy...it was more of an "Emerald Envy."  We walked to the orchard and saw "Sweet Sugarplum" trees.  I then noticed a peach tree so I said "Peekaboo Peach"...just for fun. Then we went to the zoo and saw a "Flirty Flamingo".  Silly bird.  It was a fun day.
