Little Bird Thank You Card

 

Today I have a cute thank you card made with the Swirly Bird stamp set and the Thoughtful Banners stamp set from the new 2016-17 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  It is a very fun and colorful card!

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Fold an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of Very Vanilla card stock in half for card. Set aside

2. Cut a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Crumb Cake card stock and emboss with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. 

3. Adhere a piece of Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper to the left side of the embossed piece and adhere to the front of the card.

4. Punch a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the Banner Triple Punch to make the tag.  On the tag stamp the little swirl from the Swirly Bird stamp set in Soft Suede ink for the nest.  Stamp the bird above the “nest” in Marina Mist ink.  Adhere a piece of Affectionately Yours Washi Tape to the bottom of the tag. 

5. Staple a 4-1/2” piece of Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon to the top of the tag. Adhere tag to the front of the card.

6. On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock stamp the little bird in Marina Mist and cut out. Adhere to the front of the card.  Stamp off the eggs in Marina Mist ink and add a few dots on the eggs in Dapper Denim.  Cut out and add to the inside of the nest with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

7. On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock stamp the banner from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set in Soft Suede ink; stamp the “thank you” inside the banner and punch out with the Duet Banner Punch. Adhere to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
