Tuesday Tutorial: Christmas Bear Card

Now that the Thanksgiving holiday is behind us, I am looking forward to the Christmas Season. Today I am getting my Christmas cards ready so I can get them in the mail.  Here is one of the cards I will be sending out and it features the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Baby Bear Stamp Set.  Both can be found by visiting my Stampin' Up! Online Store.

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2” piece of Real Red card stock in half.

2. Emboss a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock with the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the front of the card.

3. Cut a 2” x 2” piece of designer paper from the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack to make a present. Adhere to the front of the card.  Add a coordinating bow to the top of the present.

4. Stamp a piece of Whisper White card stock with the solid bear image from Baby Bear Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink. 

5. Stamp over the same bear using the detailed bear image from the Baby Bear Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink. Carefully cut out the bar using scissors.

6. Cut out a leaf in Garden Green card stock with the Flourish Thinlits Dies. Adhere behind the bear image. 

7. Punch out a hat in Real Red and Whisper White card stock using the Jolly Hat Builder Punch. Adhere to the head of the bear.  Add a Real Red bow cut out using the Wonderful Wreath Frameits Dies.  Adhere the bear to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8. Adhere a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock to the inside of card for your sentiment.

9. Optional: For added bling, add a little Clear Wink of Stella to the Santa Hat!
