I wanted something different than the traditional folds for my June stamping classes so I designed a class around a few different fun folds. Today's tutorial is a window card using sheets for a little peek inside the card. We also uses water coloring for the background.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut an 11” x 4-1/4” piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock. Score at 5-1/2”
- Cut off 2” from the bottom and 2” from the fold. Save the piece from the bottom.
- Cut a 3” x 4-1/4” piece of window sheet and adhere to the front of the card and add the 2” bottom piece using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
- Adhere a piece of 4-1/4” x 1-3/4” Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper to the top piece and the bottom of the card.
- Add a color wash of Soft Sky ink to a 3-1/2” x 2-1/2” piece of Water Color Paper. Stamp the stem using an Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker and stamp the daisy flower from the Daisy Delight in Melon Mambo and Powder Pink inks over the color wash. Add a Bakers’ Twine bow and a little “bling” to the front of the card.
- Layer the stamped image to a piece of Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky card stock. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Stamp a piece of Whisper White card stock with the daisy and adhere to the inside of the card.
