Tutorial: Party Pandas Celebrate Card

 

With March almost over, the Stampin' Up!  Sale-a-bration Promotion is winding down and will be ending on March 31st.  This year I think Stampin' Up!  has outdone themselves with all the fantastic items they are offering free in the Sale--abration Brochure.  

Today's tutorial features the free Party Pandas Stamp Set and the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.  These go so well together.  This particular stamp set has been one of my stampers' favorites.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Melon Mambo card stock at 4-1/4” and set aside.
2. Using the 1-3/4” Circle Punch, punch a circle in the upper right corner of a piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White card stock.  Adhere a piece of 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper behind the cut out.
3. Stamp the panda with the balloon from the Party Panda Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color the balloon with Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends.
4. Stamp the panda holding the envelop on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock and cut upper body out. Tuck the panda into the circle area.
5. Adhere a 1-1/2” x 4” piece of Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the Whisper White piece. Adhere to the front of the card.
6. With the Celebrate You Thinlits Die, cut out “Celebrate” in Melon Mambo card stock. Adhere to front of the card.
7. Stamp sentiment on another piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White card stock and adhere to inside of card.
