Tutorial: Blossoming Basket Card

Today's card features the Blossoming Basket Bundle from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.  I LOVE this bundle and I'm so thankful that the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder will be carried over into the Stampin' Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog.  This means I can continue to use it for my future class projects.  It is such a pretty background!

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Night of Navy card stock at 4-1/4” and set aside.
2. Emboss a piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White card stock with the Sale-a-bration Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder. Adhere a strip of 1.2” Navy Gingham Ribbon across the cardstock using Sticky Strip or Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Adhere embossed card stock onto front of the card.
3. Stamp a piece of 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” Whisper White card stock with the Sale-a-bration  Blossoming Basket Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.   Using either Watercolor Pencils or Stampin’ Blends, color the image.
4. Adhere stamped piece onto a 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Stamp “Here for you” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and punch out.  Adhere to front of card.  Add 3 tiny Pearls Basic Jewels to the corner of the basket image.
6. Adhere another piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White card stock inside card.
