Tutorial: Watercolor Wings Brusho Card

Today's beautiful card features the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set and the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies, both sadly retiring tomorrow.  For this card I also used the Brusho Crystal Colours on the brick wall.

 

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Thick Very Vanilla card stock at 4-1/4”
2. Adhere a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Early Espresso card stock onto the front of the card.
3. Stamp a piece of 5” x 3-3/4” Watercolor Paper with the flowering vine and the strip of dots from the Hold on to Hope stamp set in Always Artichoke Ink. 
4. Emboss stamped piece with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. Adhere to the front of the card.  With the Moss Green Brusho and an Aqua Painter, LIGHTLY wash the center of the brick wall.
5. On a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, stamp the 3-piece butterfly from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Early Espresso inks. Cut the butterfly out using the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies.  Making sure brick wall is dry, adhere butterfly to front of card.
6. Stamp “The little moments with you matter a lot to me” in Always Artichoke Ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punch out using the Everyday Label Punch. Add a ribbon to the top and attach to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
