When I attended Stampin' Up's On Stage Conference in April, I received a really beautiful swap from a demonstrator named Deb. I wish I knew her last name and where she was from so I could give her credit for this card. When my customers saw the swap they all fell in love with it. I was able to re-create it for a class I taught recently. It's a little more involved but well worth the effort! INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut out a piece of 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” Basic Black card stock. This will be your card base. Set aside.
- Stamp a piece of 5” x 3-3/4” Very Vanilla card stock with the sentiment in Night of Navy. Add Baker’s Twine around the top. Sponge around a Stitched Shape Circle and stamp with the anchor from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit. Adhere to top of Baker’s Twine with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cut out a piece of Basic Black card stock to measure 5” x 3” and score at 3”; fold along scored line
- Cut out a piece of 5-1/2” x 3-1/2” Night of Navy card stock and score at 2”; fold along scored line.
- Adhere scored smaller side of Basic Black and Night of Navy card stock to back of the stamped piece of Very Vanilla. Adhere to the piece of 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” Basic Black card stock.
- Cut out 2 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock to measure 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” and 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
- On larger piece of Very Vanilla, sponge the bottom with Coastal Cabana ink for the water. Carefully stamp the waves from the High Tide stamp set in Night of Navy ink.
- Gently sponge around the top of the piece with Cajun Craze ink. Stamp the birds from the High Tide stamp set in Black Memento Ink. Adhere to the Night of Navy flap.
- On the smaller piece of Very Vanilla, stamp the first lighthouse image from the High Tide stamp set in Real Red ink. Stamp the second lighthouse image in Black Memento Ink directly over the first image.
- Stamp a Post It Note with the lighthouse image and place over the image on the cardstock. Sponge the Costal Cabana water and stamp the waves in Night of Navy at the bottom. Keeping the Post It Note in place, gently sponge the sky in Cajun Craze ink. Remove the Post It Note. Stamp the birds in the corner. Adhere to the Basic Black flap.
