Tutorial: Share What You Love Matching Card & Envelope

 

Today's card again uses the Crafting Forever Stamp Set paired with the beautiful Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.   The paper is so beautiful I also wanted to showcase it on the outside of the envelope.  

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Crumb Cake card stock and score at 4-1/4”; cut off 3-1/4” on one side. 
2. Cut a strip of 5-1/2” x 1/2” Early Espresso card stock and adhere to the 1” side of folded card.  This is the front of the card.
3. Cut a 4” x 5-1/2” piece of the Share What You Love Designer Series Specialty Paper. Apply adhesive to the Early Espresso strip on card, lining up the designer paper to the right side of card, adhere to the Early Espresso strip.
4. Cut out a Whisper White piece of card stock with the oval shape from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Stamp the scissors from the Crafting Forever stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Stamp the small image from the Works of Art (retired) stamp set in Mint Macaron ink.   Adhere a Mint Macaron oval to the back.  Layer this piece over a doily and adhere to the front of the card.
5. Add a bow made with Baker’s Twine to the top of the scissors image.
6. Stamp a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Whisper White cardstock with the “We are cut out to be friends” stamp and adhere to the inside of the card.
7. For the flap of the envelope, cut out a 2” x 6” piece of coordinating Share What You Love Designer Series Specialty Paper and adhere to the flap. Trim off the overhang.
