Don't you just love looking at stained glass windows? The artwork is simply beautiful. Now you can create that look with your cards and scrapbook pages.
The new Graceful Glass Designer Vellum Paper from Stampin' Up! will help you achieve the look of stained glass. Just pick out the design you want and color on the back of it with either Stampin' Write Markers or the new Stampin' Blends. The result is simply amazing.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Basic Black card stock and score at 4-1/4” and set aside.
- Stamp a 4” x 5-1/2” piece of the Whisper White card stock with the “Have a Beautiful Birthday” image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom right.
- Cut a strip of the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum Paper and using Stampin’ Write Markers or Stampin’ Blends, color the back side of the paper. Add a few Glue Dots to the back side of the strip and adhere it to the front of the card.
- Adhere a strip of Black Trim to the side of the panel using Glue Dots.
- Adhere the card stock to the front of the card.
- Stamp a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Whisper White card stock with the rose image from the Painted Glass Stamp Set and color, then adhere to the inside of the card.
