Sometimes the prettiest things are black and white. Today's card features a fun technique called "Split Negative" and uses both black and white Embossing Powder and VersaMark. It also uses a favorite stamp set Lovely As A Tree, which has been around a long time.
SPLIT NEGATIVE CARDS
Step 1: Cut your black & white card stock into two equal pieces. Place them side by side (may hold them together in back with tiny piece of tape).
Step 2: Stamp image using VersaMark exactly in center of the two pieces.
Step 3: Emboss white card with black embossing powder, and emboss the black piece with white (or whatever contrasting colors you are using).
Step 4: Adhere pieces to background in the same pattern as they were stamped.
Step 5: Finish card.
