Tutorial: A Circle of Butterflies Card

I love butterflies and this card showcases butterflies punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punch from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog and the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper which is one of the items you can choose from the Sale-a-bration Brochure with a $50 order.   If you're like me I'm sure you are ready for warm weather and sunshine (unless you're one of the lucky ones vacationing in the south!), especially since it snowed this weekend in Indiana! 

To get ready for some warm weather which is predicted later this week, I thought today I would show you a pretty butterfly card we made at one of my stamping classes.  It is simple yet beautiful.

1. Cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock to measure 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”and score at 4-1/4” for the card base.
2.  Cut 2 pieces of 4” x 5-1/4” Very Vanilla card stock. Adhere 1 piece to the inside of the card.
3. Using the Stamp-a-ratus, stamp the 2nd piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the large circle from the Swirly Frames stamp set with Night of Navy ink. Adhere to the front of the card.
4. Stamp a 1/2” x 3” piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the “You’ve Been On My Mind” from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Night of Navy ink. Layer it over a piece of Petal Pink card stock and to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Using the Butterfly Duet Punch, cut out 3 butterflies from the FREE Sale-a-bration Botanical Butterflyl Designer Series Paper. Adhere to the front of the card.
