Tutorial: Masculine All Geared Up Z-Fold Card

I think most demonstrators are guilty of not making enough masculine style cards.  I know I am.  It seems I always gravitate to the floral stamp sets when deciding which stamp sets to invest in.  However, when I saw the "Geared Up Garage" stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog, I knew this would be a great stamp set to have.  It  would make great masculine get well cards and birthday cards. 

Today I've used this set to create a fun Z-fold card.  It's easy to make and I know will be fun to receive!

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock lengthwise to measure 11” x 4-1/4”.  Score at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2” for the card base.  This will form a Z-fold. Set aside.
2. Cut a piece of 2-1/2” x- 4” Real Red card stock adhere it to the front panel of the Z-fold card. Cut a piece of 2-1/4” x 3-3/4” Classic Car 6” x 6”  Designer Series Paper and adhere it to the front panel over the Real Red card stock.
3. Stamp a piece of 3-3/4” x 2-1/4” Whisper White card stock with the car image from the Geared Up Garage stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Stamp the blobs of dirt image in Gray Granite ink along the side of the card stock.  Color the car with Stampin’ Blends.  Layer the stamped piece over a piece of 4” x 2-1/2” Basic Black card stock and adhere to the front panel.
4. Stamp the right side of a piece of 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White card stock with the blobs of dirt image and adhere to the inside of the card.
