Tutorial: Daisy Friend Card

I love making cards for friends, and what friend wouldn't like to get a pretty flower card, especially during the dreary winter days?  This card is fast and very easy to make.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and score at 4-1/4"'; fold in half to make your card base.
2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 3-3/4” x 5” and emboss with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Tie a piece of Linen Thread around the embossed card stock. 
3. Stamp a piece of 1-1/4” x 4” Seaside Spray card stock with the Friend stamp from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Ink. Adhere this stamped piece to the front of the embossed card stock.
4. Adhere the embossed card stock to a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Seaside Spray card stock. Adhere the layered pieces to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Stamp a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock 2 times with the large daisy from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Seaside Spay Ink. Using the Daisy Punch, punch out the 2 daisies.  Adding a Stampin’ Dimensional between the two daisies, add to the front of the card.
