Happy November! Now that Halloween is over, it's time to turn the page on the calendar and get ready for our next holiday -- Thanksgiving! This is one of my family's favorite times to gather. For those that can't join us on that special day I like to send them a card to let them know we are thinking of them.
Today I wanted to show you a card I made with left over pieces from my September Paper Pumpkin Kit. This card was so fast and easy to make. If you have not yet signed up for your monthly subscription to Paper Pumpkin, just CLICK HERE. Be sure to name me as your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Whisper White cardstock and score at 4-1/4” for the card base.
- Emboss a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card.
- Cut a 4” strip from the die cut cracker paper from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. Tie a piece of LInen Thread around the piece and adhere to the bottom of the card.
- Cut a large Whisper White circle using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Adhere die cut pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kit to the circle and adhere circle to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp “Give Thanks” on the banner piece and adhere t the circle.
- Stamp “Happy Thanksgiving” inside the card.
