Tutorial: Dragonfly Thank You Card

It's crazy cold in Indy so I decided to send out warm thoughts today by showing you a cute dragonfly card.  This is such a simple card to make but it is guaranteed to wow the person receiving it.  It uses the new Dragonflies Punch and the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set from the new Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalog.  These can be purchased as a bundle, saving you 10%!

 

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” thick Whisper White cardstock at 4-1/4” for your card base.

2. Cut a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the flowers from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink.

3. With a 2” Circle Punch, punch out a circle at the top of the stamped cardstock. Cut a piece of 2-2/3” x 2-3/4” Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper.  Adhere to the back of the stamped piece to cover the hole.

4. Stamp “Thank you for your kindness” in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the bottom of the card.

5. On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the dragonfly in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Stamp the wing image in Blackberry Bliss ink over the dragonfly.  Punch out the dragonfly using the Dragonflies Punch.

6. Stamp the flowers on the outside of the envelop in Blackberry Bliss Ink.
